Having practiced in Turkey, the UK, and Panama, Ayşe Irmak Çelik is an aspiring architect with an interest in housing, urbanism, building systems, sustainability, and architectural history.
She has various experiences in built installations, ranging from physical assembly and robotics to media art, using physical space and virtual media to tell stories and generate useful environments. She recently started a research project on Western Armenian and Judeo-Spanish heritage with Asst. Prof. Aslıhan Günhan and Dr. Alyson Wharton. Previously she was involved in a sustainable housing building systems research project with Prof. Glenn Terry Kukkola.
